Central Studio

We’re in the business of developing character through the art of dance. Dance is so much more than great leaps and turns – dance gives us the opportunity to share ideas, express ourselves through movement, and connect with community. Our dancers become respectful, confident, courteous community members that support one another. Whether our students are seeking professional commercial or concert work, making it onto the high school dance team, or just want to experience a dance recital – they will have confidence in their endeavors and they will make great team players out in the big world.

Why Dance Discovery?

Pick up and fine tune the basics needed for a Lamar dance audition with our Lamar Audition Prep Class.  The course will cover the ballet, jazz, and modern dance skills necessary to succeed in your audition. We’ll do ballet barre work, elements of modern dance in the center, and jazz skills that travel across the floor.  This is a great opportunity to prepare yourself and elevate your dancing with the skills needed to succeed at Lamar. For 5th-7th graders!

We strongly suggest adding our Saturday Open Level Ballet class as well.
