Musical Theatre

We provide a supportive, fun environment where young people can be creative, expressive and improve communication skills that enhance one’s life, as well as put on a rockin’ good show! This curriculum is focused on vocal enhancement, Broadway style choreography, and acting skills. It culminates with a musical at the end of each school year. Students may be part of the chorus or they may audition for roles that require additional rehearsal times. This year students will have the opportunity to perform in our production of  Lion King Kids!

Production Fee Deposit: $78 charged Oct. 1st     Production Fee Balance: $78 charged March 1st

Musical Theatre Production fees are shared community fees used for theatre rental, hiring of professional lighting, sound engineers, and techs, rental of sound equipment, purchasing the rights to the musical, scenery, costuming, and props, etc. and includes 2 free tickets to the production. 

Triple Threat Troupe

Pre-Professional Performance Team. Acting, Singing, Dancing and Performance intensive style curriculum.

This audition based performance team learns multiple styles of Broadway technique, including but not limited to: Broadway jazz dance, Broadway tap dance, ensemble dance, individualized vocal training, ensemble singing training, monologue technique, audition prep, characterization and so much more.

Advanced Students and Triple Threat Troupe will perform in the Broadway Revue Dec. 17th, 2019.

Our advanced musical theatre performers take the stage in a spectacular mash-up of fairytale and the real world in our Musical Revue December 17th at the Boyd Vance Theatre (Downtown) inside the Carver Museum, 1165 Angelina Street, Austin, TX 78702. Our Triple Threat Troupe will be performing the opening to Into The Woods as the shows opener!

 All Students Perform in The Lion King.

Auditions for level II and up: November 14, 2019 12:40-2:40 pm. Reserve your time slot through the link we will be sending on December 2nd. Spots are first come first serve.

Morgan (Moe) Morizot, Musical Theatre Director and dance instructor, has been a performing actress and vocalist for 18 years who has performed in over 20 productions in professional and community theatre as well as working backstage in over 15 productions. She has studied dance for over 10 years. She started acting and singing at 5 years old and studied Music Education at Temple College and Musical Theatre at West Texas A&M University. Moe has studied in multiple areas of performance: Musical Theatre, Opera, Jazz Improvisation, Choral Studies, Dance, Technical Theatre, etc. She has also worked for The Walt Disney Company on the Disney College Program, so magical is just one way to describe Moe! She has been teaching children for 7 years with the mission to mold young minds into hard-working, goal driven, and ambitious young adults in the working theatre and dance community.
